It has been reported by Isabel Roe ( @isabel roe ), journalist for ABC, that at a press meeting called by greens, leader Adam Bandt refused to stand beside the Australian flag which he said was a racist and hurtful symbol. He had the Australian flag removed before he would continue.
Many military men and women lay at rest under that flag and so many of us fought and gave our health and our youth to protect that flag.
How dare this weed of an excuse for a man who was elected to lead an excuse for a political party, turn his back on our nations symbol.
I urge you all to email every Greens member holding a seat in our parliament and express your utter disgust at the actions of their leader.
This is one time that the Greens must be held to account.
I urge you all to follow through by demanding that your elected member of parliament, both state and federal, demand that Adam Brandt apologise to the Australian people from the floor of the parliament.
If he feels that way, about our Flag, well then he should ship out to a country that he would feel more confutable in, say Russia or China maybe. Also he can stop taking the Queens Coins and do his best to survive on zero, seeing as he doesn’t like Australia.
Leave the flag and get rid of Adam.
I have long held the view that Bandt is one of the most dangerous people in Australia he has now also proved himself a traitor as well.

Unfortunately the Marxist greens control the senate and therefore the Australian parliament. Every piece of legislation will be filtered by the greens The labor party needs to enter into discussions with other senate members to break the deadlock.
If he can`t stand next to the flag veterans fought and died under and if he can`t understand this get him out of office

Some of the people voted him in, surely the rest of us can make enough noise to vote him out.
What a tosser, will he have the spine to apologise. He and his green mate are only dividing this country.
This poor excuse for a man should be in jail for treason, it’s not the first time he’s made his hatred of Australia known. I’m just out of FB jail for saying what I think of him and his treasonous act of removing our National flag.
The tower of London should be reopened to have him hung, drawn & quartered for treason. My heart goes out to all who have served under our flag.
If reconciliation is required , the only flag we should fly is the Australian National Flag.

I served in Vietnam for 12 months in 1967 -68 as a CMF volunteer WO2 the same as WW1 and WW2 men and women who
was accepted as volunteers and when I came home was treated the same as them, no job, young family, and a house to pay off. I honored our flag and is the only one I will honor. I proudly wore the Army uniform for 36 years as a senior WO1 for a 11 years.
iam a vietnam vet and we all fought and killed under this our great flag and to have this turd do this it should be open season for our diggers

Can we deport a Member of Parliament to say Siberia?
Adam Brandt took an oath/affirmation to serve the Australian people and that means ALL people not just the looney left. The vast majority of Australians respect the Australian Flag and so should every elected member of our parliament. The yet to be elected President of the Senate should demand an apology from Senator Brandt on the floor of the Senate. However this is unlikely as Labor will need the Green’s Senators to help them pass legislation. Usually time dims memories but the disrespect by Senator Brandt towards our National Flag and the Australian people will live on forever.
Is there any way we can create a petition and gather signatures’ about the disgraceful, no outrageous behavior, from Bandt ( I would not give him the satisfaction of using any given title on this un-Australian person) and have the petition and its signatures’, delivered to the “Speaker of the House”??… They have sworn allegiance and gained handsome salaries’ (plus perks’ @ $65,500pa) …. Bandt you are disgraceful, period…
