A look at the activities of Australia’s Army in the 1970s. Promotional film for the Army directed by Terry Ohlsson for Film Australia. Training of soldiers is shown at the Army Apprentices School, Armour Training School, Canungra, Officer Cadet School and enjoying recreational activities. Various types of army equipment are demonstrated including engineering, the Kiowa and Iroquois helicopters and Pilatus Porter reconnaissance aircraft, tanks and field guns.
