Supporting a Mate during the COVID Pandemic
The article below will be of interest to all Family, Relatives or Friends who may have a connection to the 1915 Gallipoli Campaign and would be keen to commemorate such connections during the COVID Pandemic restrictions on travel. APO, the young Turkish man identified in the article is a Tour Guide with a particular emphasis on the Gallipoli Peninsular who took 20+ ACA Members under his wing for a tour of Istanbul, the Dardanelles, the Gallipoli Peninsula and other tourist spots in 2006. His enthusiasm, knowledge, commitment and reverence during our tour had him designated an honorary commando at the final dinner of the tour. The Covid Pandemic has smashed the Tour business and APO has come up with an innovative way to help him and his Family keep the Business alive and his skills and knowledge up-to-date. He is offering to conduct virtual commemorations (including wreath laying, gravesite visits, shrine/monument tours and battle field site visits). His fees are very competitive and he will ensure every commemorative virtual visit is tailor made/customised individually for each Customer.
