Royal Commission Report Released

The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Interim Report has been released.

Interestingly, the first recommendation is to implement recommendations from the Productivity Commissioner’s Report that came out in July 2019 – 3 years later we are back to the start.

What we now need is accountability, we have manufactured the enemy that has caused the most deaths to our Veterans here at home. More suicides are from Veterans who have never been to a combat zone, which suggests we are failing in the way that we transition our Veterans into and out of service.
