Sponsored by the Department of Defence, this recruiting film presents with some humour the thoughts of one of a group of young soldiers who is writing a letter home. With so many suggestions of what to include, contributed by his mates (“Don’t forget the football”… “Tell her how brave you are!”), he doesn’t get beyond writing “Dear Mum.”
