COOKING UP A STORM
The attachment makes an interesting read. The article is from the Galleries Collection of the Australian Army Museum of WA and details the early days of the Australian Army, cooks and equipment.
Army cooks always wore the brunt of many bad jokes, but whether they were feeding us in the field or barracks, the hot food (sometimes cold) was always appreciated, and our bellies were always full. An Army marches on its belly. Thank you to all the cooks that kept us fed.
Enjoy your read.
