Vale: 1410793 Frank Gulyas – 105 Fd Bty – First Tour

We have received advice of the death on Monday morning, 18 April 2022, of Frank Gulyas. Frank served with 105 Field Battery in Vietnam from September 1965 until June 1966. He stayed on in Vietnam with 1st Field Regiment until September 1966 to complete his 12-month tour. He was 82. No other details are available at this stage.

    Frank Gulyas was awarded the United States Army Commendation Medal for service with the 173d AB. For verification see Bob Breen book ‘First to Fight”

    Hi Bob, I wore my father’s medals on ANZAC day though I don’t recall seeing an American award amongst the medals. Can you please tell me what it would look like. Cheers
